Still Little Change Obama to Trump Employment- 196,000/mo. for 83 mos. Obama; 203,000/mo. for 24 months-Trump

US employment bottomed out after the recession in February 2010 at 129.715 million. In January 2017, the end of the Obama Presidency, employment stood at 145.695 million, a gain of 15.98 million jobs, or 196,000/month for 83 months. From that January 2017 month to the January 2019 numbers that came in on Friday, February 1, there has been a gain of 4.879 million jobs, or 203,000/month under the Trump administration. Adjustments generally occur for two months following the release of each monthly figure.

Jim Brennan was a member of the New York State Assembly for 32 years and retired at the end of 2016. He chaired four committees, including the Assembly Committee on Corporations, Authorities, and Commissions for six years, the Committee on Cities for five years, and the Committee on Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities for six years.
